Ponencia Magistral

On Tuesday 11/8, Sigma Delta Pi hosted a "Ponencia Magistral", a lecture by three professors from the Modern Language Studies who shared with us their experience with the Spanish language in their lives.

The event had professor Darci Strother, MLS Department Chair, and professors Fabio Chee and Mariana Segovia.

Dr. Fabio Chee shares how he went from an Engineering major to a Spanish major, having participated in different projects through his education, from hosting a radio show to editing a literary magazine.



Dr. Mariana Segovia began her education hoping to become a psychologist. However, the Spanish major had a greater appeal, bringing with it a change and new challenges, especially when family is involved.
